About Us

Bosch Built Homes continues to thrive in Medicine Hat, Alberta specializing in Custom Homes, Renovations and Additions. Ray is very proud and excited to have his son Joel, his daughter Julie and his wife Dianne as part of the team. Their education, experience and great people skills have been a huge contribution to the success of Bosch Built Homes. Ray and the team look forward to providing quality homes and projects to the community of Medicine Hat in the years to come.

Ray Bosch
Ray attended S.A.I.T. in 1974, where he completed courses in the field of Architectural Technology. Desiring to learn more about construction, he worked in Medicine Hat for a local builder and acquired his Journeyman Carpentry Certificate. In 1982, Ray started his own construction company called Bosch Built Homes Ltd. Since then, Bosch Built Homes has been known for quality and care in Custom Built Homes, Complete Home & Bathroom Renovations, and Additions. Ray has a passion for helping the less fortunate in the community, which prompted him to complete the Child and Youth Care Counseling program at Lethbridge Community College. With this, he developed a pre-trades program at McCoy High School which provides youth with an opportunity to succeed in the workforce by developing natural trades skills. Ray has volunteered his time as leader of "Lifeteen", a youth ministry in the church, as well as with Habitat for Humanity. He also coordinated a mission trip to Juarez Mexico, where he and his family joined a youth group to build a home for a family in need. Bosch Built Homes believes in reaching out financially to global poverty by supporting missions in Africa and Romania.

Dianne Bosch
Dianne graduated from Business College after she left high school. She then worked as a legal secretary in Medicine Hat. Dianne presently is bookkeeper for the family business and works as a Dental receptionist.

Julie Bosch
Julie graduated from McCoy High School in 2001. She began her construction experience in 2005 in Calgary, working for a small renovation company. After a year she moved on to a larger company specializing in high end kitchen and bathroom renovations. In the fall of 2007 she was accepted into the Architectural Technology program at SAIT and graduated with honours in 2009. After graduating, Julie decided to move back home and bring her big city experience to the growing family business.

Joel Bosch
Joel graduated from McCoy high school in 2003 and immediately after began working in the carpentry trade. Working for a few local builders, Joel learned how to build a home from the ground up with great attention to detail. Joel finished the last two years of his carpentry apprenticeship at N.A.I.T. and moved back home in the spring of 2007 with his Journeyman Carpentry Ticket. Excited about everything he had learned thus far, Joel was ready to take the next step in joining Ray to help build the family business.
Over the course of the last few years, Joel has completed a "Moisture Control Technician" course, as well as a "Home Building on Alberta Soils" course, both put on by Alberta New Home Warranty.
